Full Itinerary

  • Day 1: Cusco City – Sacred Valley 

At 8 a.m., we will meet you at your hotel lobby to begin your tour. From here, you will head to Cusco’s Plaza de Armas, where you will visit the famous  Q’oricancha, the Temple of the Sun. 

From Q’oricancha, your group will walk down Avenida El Sol, where you will take your bus 25 minutes outside of the city. You will be taken to the majestic Inca site, Sacsayhuaman, with its enigmatic, 200 ton monoliths, you will be able to hear from your guide and then, explore on your own.

From Sacsayhuaman, you will take a five minute bus ride to the Q’enqo Inca site to see its fascinating Incan altars. Following, you will take another five minute drive to Puca Pucara, a small, circular Inca site. The final stop on our tour is Tambomachay, a water temple with impressive water fountains, thought to be used by the Inca for bathing. We’ll then drive to pisaq where we do the lunch and Also we visit the inca construction and them we will continúe to Ollantaytambo where we will do the nigh hotel

  • Day 2 : Moray – Salt mines – Ollantaytambo – Machupicchu 

We depart Ollantaytambo early for go to visit Moray ruins was a farmer place in the Time of the Incas after that we will continúe to visit the Salt mines it is a beatifull place and then we will go to do lunch in Urubamba after that we will go to Ollantaytambo to visit the inca building and then we will go to the train station to take the train for travel to Machupicchu And we will do over night and dinner

  • Day 3: Machupicchu – Cusco 

After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will take a 25 minute bus to the ruins. The buses run as a shuttle system, starting at 5:30 a.m. If you prefer, you may hike along the Inca trail instead of taking the bus. This trail will take about one hour and 30 minutes. For further instructions on the hike, be sure to consult your tour guide.

Once in Machu Picchu, you will have a two hour private, guided tour, followed by some time for you to explore on your own. If you choose to book a permit to climb Huayna Picchu (or Machu Picchu Mountain), that will be your next adventure. Usual train departure to Ollantaytambo is in the afternoon, followed by a bus to your hotel in Cusco.

  • Return to Machupicchu town. Schedule to coordinate with the guide.

DAY 1: CUSCO- ABRA MALAGA – SANTA TERESA

Firstly, we will pick you up and continue by land to the Sacred Valley, to the town of Ollantaytambo (2,792 meters / 9,160 feet) for a break and last minute shopping for any needs. From here our bus will climb to the high pass of Abra Malaga (4,316 meters / 14,160 feet) to begin our descent by bike. You will gear up with the appropriate wear and receive a brief introduction from our guide.

Here begins our journey down from the high peaks near the glacier into the jungles, over about 3 – 4 hours, where we will have lunch together. Another short bus ride will take us to Santa Teresa (1,550 meters / 5,085 feet), to spend the evening in the hot springs and rest for the night.

Here there is a opportunity to experience the zip-line or canopy tour . Lunch will be at the Hydroelectric Station 2,070 meters / 6,791 feet) followed by a brief rest. Continuing about 3 hours, we will arrive on foot to the town of Aguas Calientes for dinner and rest.

DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

This is the most important day as we visit one of the wonders of the world, the majestic city of Machu Picchu. We will wake early to have breakfast and hike up to Machu Picchu, and, if we are lucky, receive the first rays of the sun as dawn breaks and lights up this magical mountain.  Certainly, the guided tour through the Sanctuary will last roughly 2 hours. Later, we will begin our return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and rest before our late afternoon train to Ollantaytambo. Following our journey by train, our land transport will await our transfer to Cusco and back to your Hotel.

The Choquequirao trek is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful roads in the Andes and the most intense full of places that are not visited as it is not a very commercial route and it does not have many towns on the route. This route will take you through unique and varied landscapes with nothing less than impressive scenery through the largest archaeological complex! Photographers will experience sheer ecstasy as they hike lonely, ancient trails – from picturesque grassy highlands to flourishing cloud forests, where lush rain forests meet colossal snow-capped mountains as we get to know the snowy Padreyoc 

Full Itinerary:

Day 1: CUSCO – CAPULIYOC – CHIQUISCA – MARAMPATA.

Our trip begins with the first meeting with our guide one day before starting this magnificent adventure, where the guide can exchange some information with you. The next day, the pick-up will be between 03:30  in the morning of the hotel, then pick up our chef and travel for four hours to the Capuliyoc location, where our muleteers will wait for us with the horses.

In Capuliyoc at 2,800 m.a.s.l. , it will be our breakfast and place where our backpacks will be packed by our muleteers , (each passenger has the option of sending the weight of 5 kilograms of luggage on our horses). From this point begins our hike, we will arrive at the viewpoint where we can observe the Vilcabamba mountain range with its impressive glaciers, the Apurímac river with its canyon and its incredible panorama.

The first two and a half hours we will descend by a zigzag road to the hamlet of Chiquisca 1,800 masl where we will have a lunch, then we will continue descending for 50 more minutes until we reach the bridge of Playa Rosalina at 1,500 m.a.s.l. , lowest point. After crossing the bridge we will start the ascent for 2 hours until we reach Santa Rosa and then another 3 hours until we reach Marampata at 2,900 m.a.s.l. , approximate time of arrival 06:30 at night, where we will spend the first day.

Day 2: MARAMPATA – CHOQUEQUIRAO – MARAMPATA.

In the morning you will wake up with the songs of the birds and have a good breakfas. At approximately 07:30 am and then we will start with the hike of approximately two hours following a beautiful path where we will have an incredible view of the archaeological site of Choquequirao (2900 masl), along our hike, we will have incredible Views of the canyon where our guide will explain the history of this incredible place, also known as the last city of the last Incas, where you can visit the main square, the terraces of lamas.

Then, near noon we will do our lunch at Choquequirao, after lunch we will take a 20-minutes break and our guide will help you, to visit the astronomer’s house where probably if we are lucky we can observe the condor flying through the sky Andean, Finally we will return to Marampata, arriving at approximately 4 pm where we will be do dinner.

On this day we will wake up early at 5:00 am to have breakfast and charge ourselves with energy and then begin our 2-and-a-half-hour downhill walk to reach first the Rosalina Beach Bridge (1,500 masl), then we will climb for 50 minutes to Chiquisca (1,800 msnm), where we will have a rest and our breakfast.

After recharging energies in Chiquisca, we will return along the same path until we reach Capuliyoc (2,800 m.a.s.l.). From chiquisca it will be a hard stretch because of the temperature when the sun sets. In Capuliyoc we will have our lunch, where the transport will also be waiting for us to return to the city of Cusco on a 4-hour trip.
