Day 1: Palccoyo – Rainbow Mountain – Rock Forest full day
We will begin our adventure towards this incredible landscape mountain range by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco at 4:00 am to travel to the southern part of Cusco.
After a 2-hour trip through picturesque villages we will arrive in Checacupe where we will make a short stop to appreciate a small Inca bridge and the colonial bridge built
We will continue our tour to the place to we We call “Palccoyoc” from there you can see the mountains of colors of which we will have a better view ascending for about 45 minutes, which is a less demanding hike than Vinicunca, the other Rainbow Mountain Peru
From the Palcoyo viewpoint we can appreciate the 3 mountains of 7 colors, which have colors that resemble the rainbow for its multicolored layers. In addition, we can appreciate a curious forest of stones which is composed of rocky peaks formed naturally by rain and wind.
After enjoying the scenic beauty of this place, we will return to the parking place to take the transport and enjoy a delicious lunch in the town of Cusipata and then finally return to Cusco city where we will be arriving approximately at 5:00 pm hrs
