Day 1 – Cusco – km 104 – Wiñaywayna – Machupicchu – Puente Ruinas
Start your adventure in Cusco (4:00 am) or Ollantaytambo (5:30 am) and drive to the train station to board the first train to the Inca Trail. The train ride starts in Ollantaytambo and takes 1.5 hours until we arrive to Chachabamba, the beginning of the Inca Trail, also called Km 104.There we will have the first control , you must show the original passport to enter the Short Inca Trail.
The tour guide will provide a box lunch to add to your daypack and you’ll have to take it with you
After, we will visit the Chachabamba Inca site and start hiking the Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu for about 6-7 hours. Visit the Inca Trail’s most remarkable sites, such as Chachabamba, Wiñaywayna and enjoy the fantastic views and the variety of flora and fauna. You will arrive to Wiñaywayna will be the point to eat Our boxlunch .and then we continued with the hike to the sun gate and Machu Picchu in the afternoon, you will have the chance to see this place with fewer people when everybody is leaving, then take the bus to Puente Ruinas, where your chef and porters will be waiting for dinner and spend the night with our Camping adventure
When you arrive to the campsite, the tents will be ready; you can take a refreshing hot shower
Day 2 – Explore Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco
After breakfast very early, we will have to Hike for 20 m to aguas calientes to take the bus to Machu Picchu, to start the second day of our Inca Trail tour. To enter the site in the first round of visits to the archaeological complex on this tour. Once at the entrance of the complex, we will have a tour guide, who will provide us with a tour of approximately 2 hours «in situ». During this, we will learn about the Incas and visit the most important areas of the citadel of Machu Picchu.
After the tour, if you have the permit and/or the extra entrance tickets, you can climb to the Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (at your own expense). At the end of your tour through the archaeological site, we will return to Aguas Calientes, where you can board the train that will take us back to Ollantaytambo. Where our private transport will be waiting for us, which will take us to Cusco city, and in this way, we will have culminated with our tour of the Short Inca Trail to Machuupiçchu
