Day 1 – Cusco – Sacred Valley – Chinchero – Moray – Salt Mines – Ollantaytambo – Machupicchu
We Will pick you up from your hotel Cusco At 7:00 am to begin our Journey to the North of Cusco city
Our fist stop will be Chinchero the highlight in this Town is waching the local women making textiles They will show us the process of weaving and dyeing alpaca wool. And then we will continue to visit the archaeological site Chinchero And then we continued our journey towards The archaeological site of Moray where we will learn about the agricultural terraces And then we will continue with the expedition to the salt mines. Something incredible in the Andes and then we will pass to the city of Urubamba where we will have our buffet lunch of traditional Peruvian dishes
The last archaeological destination is Ollantaytambo.This site was built from pink granite rocks and is another impressive example of inca engineering
After visiting Ollantaytambo we will continue to the train station,where you will board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu Town)During the trip You will see pretty glaciers and snowy peaks,as well as fértile green valleys
Once in Aguas Calientes, you will head to your Hotel to check in and if you like, you can visit the hot springs
Day 2 – Macchu Picchu – Cusco
This day we are going to wake up early to have our breakfast, Then we will head to the bus station to take the first bus to the majestic mountain of Machu Picchu, also known as “La Ciudad de Cristal”. We recommend arriving early enough to witness the sunrise in the citadel before receiving the guided tour which will last approximately 2 hours and a half.
After exploring the Inca city Machupicchu we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes where we will have our lunch and then board the train back to the city of Cusco.
